The Show Must Go On!

The Birmingham Comics Show was an absolute blast!
As usual those magnificent men in the NCsoft flying machine accommodated us for the weekend and we sat and sketched for the gathered. Interesting difference at this show was that there were less of the City of Heroes game players and more general fans. This meant that rather than draw ‘in-game’ characters from reference on the computer screens we got to do a whole variety of sketches. Spider-Man, Doctor Who, Optimus Prime (surely not!?) They were all in there. Helping out this time round were the ever professional Mike Collins along with DtWT newcomers Leigh Gallagher, Andie Tong, Neil Edwards and Tim Perkins. It was great to have some new faces at the stand and their work was awesome. We have asked all those who had sketches done to scan them in and send them to us. When we do we will get them up on the site (well some of them anyway) so that you can take a look. As usual all the money raised by sketching and people having their photos taken with Ghost Widow and Ms Liberty will go to EveryChild to help fund their child healthcare and education projects in Cambodia and India.

So, below are a few pics from the day. The artists sketching and having their photo taken with the City of Heroes & Villains characters, Ghost Widow and Ms Liberty. And some random people in helmets !?
Take a look. More soon.
