2008 has been an amazing year for DtWT, so many many thanks to all the awesome people who have contributed to the work we do. The money that has been raised at the Comics and Games conventions that we have appeared at has made a massive difference. All the funds from those events has gone to help fund the work done by EveryChild in Cambodia and India. Towards the end of the year the Cambodia project had become so successful that it was decided that we would target our fundraising efforts to the India project. Those that have helped to make DtWT the success it is are  many and varied but at this point I would like to say a very special thanks to Stephen Reid and Chris Siddall of NCsoft who have (sadly for us) moved on to other ventures. There is not room to express the contribution that Stephen has been. Without Stephen the conventions we have attended over the last three years would simply not have happened and it was Stephen who shaped DtWT to be the thing it is today. It will difficult to continue in the same way without his enthusiasm, knowledge and endlessly creative mind, a born leader to whom we owe an enormous amount of thanks. Without Chris the smooth flow of sketch requests and fullfillment would have been, well, chaos. Artists are not known to be the most organised of people so thanks Chris for keeping it smooth. So guys, you are amazing and you will be missed. Of the many artists who have contributed and helped over the past three years those heroes in the picture here are the ones who really gave their all. (from top to bottom) Neil Edwards, Mike Collins, Jason Cardy and Kat Nicholson, you are amazing and you have made an enormous difference to the charity and entertained the public. Applause to you all.

So. 2009 approaches and there are going to be some changes to the work we do and how we do it. Our relationship with Games company NCsoft has been a great one and we hope to continue that. However. We are looking at new ways to expand what we do. Further announcements will be made soon but until then…

Jason appeared at the NCsoft stand with Kat Nicholson as they both sketched and coloured to raise money for DtWT projects. Their talents and the generous support of the gathered fans raised an amazing £1100 to go to the charity EveryChild. Guys, you are amazing
